Key Functional Areas Covered: Leading the Finance team, Cheryl is responsible for the delivery of finance services, such as accounting, system implementation, treasury, reporting, budgeting, and insurance management. Cheryl ensures BWEV finances are in accordance with legislative requirements and organizational policies and strategies.
Cheryl supervises the accounting and administrative staff in areas including, but not limited to: reporting, human resources, banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, debt collection, grant applications, insurance management, fleet management, vendor credentialing, and licensing.
Past positions, successes and/or unique qualities: Cheryl brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position at Blue Whale EV. Prior to joining the BWEV team, Cheryl has successfully grown with Critical Peake Services as a Controller. She also gained important and relevant experiences working with OmegaCor Technologies, Lax World Inc & Lax World Annapolis, Espire Communications, Prudential Real Estate, Merrill Lynch Reality, and Koons Ford Annapolis previously.
Educational background: Cheryl attended Anne Arundel Community College in 1983 where she obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Financial Accounting.
